In April 2008, I accepted a teaching post at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste (University of Fine Arts) in Hamburg and took on a professorship for documentaries in the film faculty. Teaching alongside me - in the same refurbished wing of an old hospital- are Professor Wim Wenders (fiction), Robert Bramkamp (experimental) and Udo Engel (animation).
